Remote Professionals: Middle

A specialist who already has several years of experience in IT can perform complex tasks assigned by the team leader. Dividing workers into three categories (Junior, Middle, Senior) helps companies better not only to determine the level, but also to understand how to distribute responsibilities in the team, to close the necessary gaps in the process of solving individual issues or within the framework of a project. The classic way of developing these competencies consists of four key elements: Knowledge - is theory, I know how it can be done in words, but I have not necessarily done it in practice. Skill - tried to do it, but I don't feel confident in doing individual tasks on my own. Skills - I confidently perform this work on my own. Experience - I have experience in assessing the risks associated with the execution of these tasks and can offer options for solving crisis situations if something goes wrong. Middle workers feel confident in the first three points, but do not yet have enough experience to make key project-level decisions. In other words, Middle are experienced Juniors, they already know and are able to do a lot, but they cannot or do not want to perform the role of a leader, master responsibility, organize the work of an entire team, deal with organizational and distributional tasks.
